Cask washing

Install a water meter to ensure that there are no leaks

Confirm equipment uses water at its recommended consumption

• if higher savings are possible

Consider the spray washing nozzles:

• Modern versions are more effective, so can replacement be justified?
• Consider consulting with suppliers / manufacturers

Automated level control in rinse and detergent tanks to prevent overflows

Consider adjusting the washing cycle timings according to cask size

If casks are washed manually use a pressure washer
