Scientific and Technical Committee (STC)
The STC is a Board Committee chaired by an Independent Non-Executive Director and steers Campden BRI's scientific and technical activities at a strategic level. It also oversees the Member Interest Group (MIG) system, ensuring that the MIGs meet the needs of members. Its main accountabilities include identifying the scientific and technical needs of the food and drink supply chain, ensuring effective use of Campden BRI Research Investment (CBRI), including identifying emerging issues and how these should be addressed.
It is supported in this role by the Member Activities Working Group (MAWG), which comprises the Chairs of the fifteen Member Interest Groups and senior Campden BRI staff and which reports to the STC.
