Independent Scientific Advisers

The main role of the Independent Scientific Adviser(s) is to assess and report on the scientific quality and effectiveness of Campden BRI's research activities through an annual report. The report reviews the fitness of methods, equipment, buildings and staff to undertake the overall research programme of Campden BRI, the effectiveness of interaction and collaboration between staff of Campden BRI, its members and those in other organisations relating to scientific and technical research activities, the progress, quality and relevance of projects and activities funded by membership subscriptions and other non-confidential research activities and the use of more objective measures of the quality of the research programmes.
