Brewing - emissions and waste
Efficient packaging
Investigate the possibility of "lightweighting" bottles by redesign
- narrow neck press and blow (NNPB) in glass bottle manufacture
- enables more even wall thickness
Lighter cans may be appropriate
Work with suppliers to maximise recycling efficiency
Lightweighting of secondary and tertiary packages
Recycle packaging waste
- minimise waste by maximising packaging line efficiency
- minimising processing faults
