Benefits of attending

Are you planning on exporting to the United States and need to ensure that your labels are compliant with American regulations? This one-day course will help you understand what changes need to be made to labels when selling into the United States.

Food labelling regulations in the United States are very different and far more prescriptive that those in the European Union, which can seem very daunting for those UK and EU producers who wish to export across the Atlantic. Those who do wish to export to the United States should be aware that EU labelled products are not sufficient and must be able to generate new packaging in order to comply with all relevant American legislation. This course provides an in-depth view into those labelling requirements and helps delegates understand how to translate their EU label in to a US label.

Focussed on up-to-date American legislation, this course is designed for those responsible for designing or managing artwork in companies. This will help companies avoid costly misbranding errors and also gives delegates an opportunity to discuss specific labelling queries with our experienced Food Law Advisors.

The course will be delivered live online over the course of two mornings (0900 - 1300 hours), participants will be sent log in details for a Microsoft Teams session.
