Heat preserved foods
To discuss your needs
Heat preserved foods are foods that have been treated using a thermal process to extend their shelf life. Examples include canned fruit and vegetable products, aseptically processed fruit juices in cartons and pasteurised ready meals. We have nearly 100 years of experience dealing with all aspects of heat preserved foods.
Heat process validation is of key importance to improve food quality without compromising safety - we have expertise in temperature measurements, time-temperature integrators and spore and enzyme reduction techniques. We also have our own software - CTemp - which allows us to model the rate of heat transfer into containers.
