Campden BRI appoints Chris Ikpeme as the new Director of Finance

Leading food and drink research company Campden BRI has appointed Chris Ikpeme as Director of Finance. Chris will lead a team of 50 and be responsible for the departments of finance, governance risk & compliance, facilities & engineering services and IT. He will also hold overall responsibility for health and safety.

Chris will work with the Chief Executive, Steven Walker, to develop and grow the Centre of Technical Excellence (CoTE), which provides research, bespoke operational support, training and consultancy services to a broad range of clients – including the world’s top 15 food manufacturers and the UK’s 10 top retailers, many other blue-chip brands, as well as ambitious and innovative start-ups and small companies.

Chris joins Campden BRI after four years as Head of Finance at an IT Services company in Gloucester and several senior roles in finance and accounting, helping to drive growth at science and technology companies, including ten years at DuPont.
