Accelerated shelf life testing: Campden BRI seminar
The shelf life of foods and drinks needs to be determined in the product development cycle. The industry faces time limitations in fulfilling this task, especially in the case of long life products.
A Campden BRI seminar: Accelerated shelf life testing - challenges and innovation, to be held on 4 March, will focus on innovative approaches to accelerated shelf life testing of foods and drinks, covering the chemical, microbiological and physical aspects of these important but complex methods.
Key areas to be covered will include:
- Accelerated shelf life testing of ambient and chilled food and drink products
- New methods and techniques
- Rapid methods to monitor chemical and microbiological changes in product quality throughout shelf life
- Challenges in accelerated shelf life testing of bakery products
