Brewing ambassador wins fellowship

Our brewing ambassador Derek Orford has been awarded one of the most prestigious honours in the brewing industry – a Fellowship of the Institute of Brewing & Distilling.

With 37 years in the industry - 29 of those as a master brewer, having started as a pupil brewer emptying mash tuns by hand in 1983 - Derek was presented the fellowship in recognition of his dedication to the brewing industry.

The award promotes him to the highest membership grade of the IBD – a position only granted to those who have contributed consistently to the brewing and distilling industry. Well done Derek!
