Bertrand Emond

Membership Ambassador, Professional Development and Culture Excellence Lead

Bertrand started at Campden BRI in November 1988 and worked in various technical departments before becoming Head of Membership in 1993, Head of Membership and Training in 2000 and Ambassador in 2021.

Bertrand holds a Master of Food Science & Technology and a Master of Business Administration. For the last 30+ years, he has been supporting companies of all sizes across the whole agri-food supply chain to survive and grow; providing support in areas related to food safety, quality, exporting, efficiency of operations/sustainability and innovation (product, process and packaging).

Bertrand is passionate about food safety/quality, training, learning and development, and achieving culture excellence in food businesses through behaviour change. He is also passionate about encouraging young talents to have a career in the food industry.

Outside of work, Bertrand enjoys spending time with his family, running, and cycling as well as going out to try new restaurants.

Clare Brett

Membership Officer

Clare joined Campden BRI in 2008 having previously worked as a Police Officer, a Wine Salesperson, and in Computer Recruitment and IT Forensics.

Clare is the person to call if you would like to know more about becoming a Member, or if you would like to arrange to come and visit our site or have an informal on-line meeting. She would also love to hear from you if you would like to refer a potential member to us.

Outside of work, Clare is a volunteer Tour Guide for Warwickshire Heritage and Culture and regularly takes visitor groups around the Old Courts, prison cells and dungeons in Warwick. She loves dogs and has a yellow lab called Moses and enjoys nothing more than visiting the seaside, or anywhere with water.

Angie Deaves

Membership Officer

Angie joined Campden BRI in 2013 having previously worked overseas as a Diving Instructor, as a Sales Manager in Adventure travel and Operations Manager for an aviation school in Warwickshire.

Angie deals with existing member´s enquiries so if you would like to know more about the benefits of membership or how to make the most of your Member Service Account (MSA) then she would be delighted to assist. She would also be pleased to arrange Teams calls to familiarise you and your colleagues with your member benefits.

Outside of work, Angie loves to be in the vicinity of, or ideally, in the ocean; whether scuba diving in UK seal abundant waters, the wrecks of Scapa Flow or just out walking coastal paths. She is a regular visitor to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, very active in her local scuba dive club, loves animals and is also a keen photographer.

Rebecca Hill

Member Interest Groups (MIGs) and Events Coordinator

Rebecca joined Campden BRI in 2018 as a Training and Events Administrator having previously had roles planning events for a film school and coordinating media scheduling.

Since joining the training team Rebecca has helped plan many courses and events for Campden BRI. Now, as MIGs Manager, Rebecca is the person to contact if you would like to know more about our Membership Interest Groups.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys making silver jewellery, finding new eateries and going to the seaside.

Nicky Martin

Membership Administrator

Nicky joined the Campden BRI Membership team in 2019. Previously, Nicky worked as an Office Manager for a skip hire company, a Service Coordinator for a heating and plumbing company and also an Estimator for a window manufacturing company.

Nicky deals with all the administration of Memberships including keeping details updated, website access, issuing of certificates etc. – the list goes on.

Outside of work, Nicky enjoys nothing more than spending time away in her touring caravan with her husband and rescue Spaniel, Milo, exploring different areas of the country with the site(s) being within walking distance of a town, beach, lakes or hills. A pub nearby is always good for refreshment. When at home Nicky’s time is spent mainly at the stables with Red, “the love of her life” (according to her Husband) who is a Part Bred Arab horse.
