Quality Team

Campden BRI supports the food & drink industry with scientific testing, technology, consultancy and innovation. Quality is at the heart of everything we do. 

You will administer and coordinate the Quality Management Systems and their implementation to achieve a culture of ‘Audit ready, always’ across all aspects of the business.

Position

  • Monitor PT scheme performance (Microbiology area) and produce regular summary and trending reports.
  • Investigate and closure of actions for Microbiology.
  • Administer the document review and audit processes to ensure compliance with schedules.
  • Liaise with clients to collect feedback on service levels and to collate information from non-conforming work (NCW) reports and summarise these into a management report.
  • Instigate investigations and corrective action planning in respect of NCW and complaints.
  • Undertake local procedure audits and produce associated audit reports.
  • Consider and propose opportunities for improvement/ consolidation of local business management documentation. 
  • Support TABS Management process for Microbiology. 

Requirements

  • Good standard of education with ability to interact with staff and clients at all levels.
  • Proven experience of administration of business management processes and their implementation with awareness of their link to formal standards
  • Laboratory (ideally microbiology) experience is advantageous.
  • Technical knowledge and training in lab methods, SOPs etc is essential.
  • Use of IT systems and software including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and survey management software
  • Good team player who is friendly, enthusiastic, innovative and enterprising: with good interpersonal skills and able to gain the trust and cooperation of staff across the Directorate.
  • Diplomatic and objective with a can-do attitude.
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • Organise and methodical, staying calm under pressure, able to balance assigned tasks and scheduled activities and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Organisation/ planning/ coordination experience
