​Our Sales, Marketing, Training & Membership department oversee all the commercial elements for our organisation: liaising and supporting our technical functions with marketing campaigns, market research, developing key accounts, overall strategy and ensuring our members have added value through our services and consultancy.

We also provide a wide range of training courses from introductions into microbiology, Food Science & Technology, Thermal Processing etc to advanced HACCP and international regulatory courses.

Marketing Team

Campden BRI provide Food & Drink science, technology and innovation support and consultancy to our clients- manufacturers of food & drink, retailers and suppliers.

We're looking for a 12 month FTC to develop marketing communications that will engage prospects through content designed to attract and convert them into leads and customers for our services. This could include print, social media, website content (articles, blogs, white papers plus more) and email.

 

To act as the liaison with scientific and marketing colleagues to create, develop and edit high-quality content that covers the many aspects of science and technology relevant to our business, ensuring it is appropriate for our target audiences, the channel it will be published through and reflective of our brand values. This includes text copy, video, infographics, images, and similar materials that may be needed for our digital platforms, such as our website, social media pages and marketing emails.

Position

  • Work with colleagues from across the business on the planning, development and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns. This will be achieved through the production of a wide range of written content for use across different marketing and communication channels, ensuring brand, tone of voice and key messages are maintained.

    This may include:
    • Email – draft engaging email communications for identified target audiences,
    • Social Media – work with colleagues to draft and post a range of attention-grabbing social media content (including written content)
    • Website – develop web articles, blogs and other digitally focused content which is written to be read online
    • Print and press media – draft press releases and other PR focused articles for trade and industry media (including liaising with 3rd part press support)
    • Webinars – work with subject matter experts to develop a script for engaging webinars and promotion content for them
  • Adapt / optimise marketing communications based on marketing content performance data.
  • Undertake proofreading of content from across the business to ensure tone of voice and grammatical accuracy.

Requirements

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills are essential for this role
  • Degree in marketing and/or CIM qualifications or science degree
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing with a content focus
  • Experience working across a variety of content formats and channels
  • Experience in producing conversion-driven copy for landing pages
  • Excellent English content writing and communication skills are a must-have
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software features
  • Can-do, enthusiastic, collaborative and friendly attitude with a strong desire to improve own skills base and find improved ways of working for the benefit of the business.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with internal technical experts.
