Analytical Services

We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography,  packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits

Beer Analysis Team

Campden BRI's Nutfield site are the UK's leading centre for brewing research, covering all matters related to beer, wine and spirit development, production, and analysis. We offer many services that look at the flavour and quality of beers/ brewing and their ingredients, including, sugar profiles, fatty acids, Tristimulus, taints and flavour volatiles.

Position

  • ​Carry out analysis of samples within agreed time scales.
  • Support the team to deliver analytical results for clients on time and within budget.
  • Write customer reports
  • Identify and implement improvements such as new equipment, faster analytical methods, new analyses and flexible staff working.
  • Administration and quality systems.

Requirements

  • ​Chemistry degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years analytical laboratory experience.
  • Experience with analysis of alcholic beverages would be beneficial but not essential. Full training will be given, if needed, in the analysis of alcoholic beverages and raw materials.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, high throughput laboratory.
  • Computer literate – proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
