Finance Team

Campden BRI is a membership organisation, who support the food & drink industry with technical solutions, chemistry & microbiology testing, innovation, research and consultancy.  We're going through an exciting time of growth and are looking for an interim Financial Controller for a 2-year fixed term contract, to deputise for the Financial Controller while they are assigned to a major strategic project. You will be managing all aspects of the Finance Department to ensure a consistent, high quality and proactive service to the business and excellence in finance processes.

Position

  • Timely and accurate management reporting to Leadership team.
  • Managing all statutory and taxation compliance activities.
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting activities of the business, controlling and coordinating input from all operating units and support services.
  • Supporting with the implementation of system and process changes providing insight from experience.
  • Responsibility for management of the Finance team including processes for Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, cash and payroll functions.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA,) with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. QBE with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounting and financial process excellence.
  • Enjoys working in a rapidly changing environment and is comfortable proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change.
  • Proactive, positive, enthusiastic – demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Well-developed skills in communication, team leadership and change management. 
  • Demonstrate strong technical competency of industry standards and regulations in order to mitigate Financial, Operational, Anti-bribery, Fraud and Reputational risks.
