Analytical Services

We offer commercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography,  packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits

Analytical Management Support Services

​Campden BRI offer analytical chemistry testing to our members and clients, which allows them to ensure their food & drink products are safe for consumers. We offer a range of testing; shelf life, allergens, foreign body identification, packaging, contaminants, vitamins, sugars and many more.

Our Sample Handling and Client Services Support Team ensure that samples are received, checked in, processed and passed onto our scientists to perform testing/ analysis.

You will support the planning and implementation of projects in the Analytical Services section, monitor specific client account performance and conduct regular feedback meetings with internal and external parties.

 

To support senior management in promoting a positive client focused culture across the division in which the core values are embedded and exhibited in all we do.

 

Candidates should be competent in analytical chemistry techniques, client facing skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. This role is key to linking client needs with operations and supporting senior management in alignment of customer service values to the wider Analytical group.


Position

  • Manage incoming enquiries, preparing quotations, following up on the completion of the practical work and summarising performance for key clients.
  • Resolving client related issues with incoming samples.
  • Managing client facing tasks such as participating in client meetings.
  • Support the development and deployment of customer service values and charters.
  • Providing client feedback, suggestions, and improvement opportunities. Playing in a key role in ensuring client based initiatives are implemented.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in client facing roles
  • Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written.
  • Highly organised individual able to multitask and prioritise workload. 
  • Experience in a laboratory environment, working within the requirements of recognised quality systems e.g. UKAS. ISO 90001 and 17025 (preferred) 
  • Good knowledge of techniques relating to work carried out in the section.

Capacity to work off-site with clients as required, both in the UK and abroad, communicating details of challenge test work and making decisions based on situations occurring on-site.
